Convenient location for my purposes. Close to Old Orchard Mall and restaurants. Easy parking. Everything worked.
Good base location to use when visiting Chicago. Far enough North of the city to escape major traffic congestion yet Interstate only minutes away offers ready access to "where you want to go!" Management/Staff very helpful, room clean/comfortable, morning breakfast was a real plus. I would stay here again.
We booked a non smoking room. We were very early upon our arrival and could not check in so we went on with our festivities for the day to come back later only to find one smoking room is left and we had to be placed in that one. It was not what we had paid for which made it very uncomfortable for two people who do not smoke nor like being around that atmosphere.
The food was good, the rooms were clean, and everyone I encountered was helpful.
The internet! Placing banners on web sites I visited was enough to make me not want to come back. Apps on my phone were failing. I was very unhappy with that! The beds were old and not very comfortable.
The room was a good size for 4 people. The breakfast selection was nice. The cleaning/maintenance staff were pleasant.
It could use more postings as to the location of the elevator. We came in doors 2 and 3 and had to ask where the elevator was.
Large indoor swimming pool, close to shopping and dining, easy commute to chicago
It was a very good value. The location was great with a lot of options nearby for shopping and dining.
The hallway had a strange odor.
Convenient for my stay. Also I had been upgraded as a guest of the day which was really nice! Thank you for a clean, king bed/room!Also, the breakfast had the extra hot foods (eggs and potatoes) I did not expect.
The elevator in the back area. I thought I was going to an employees only area. Would be nice to have it more convenient.
It was a good location as we were in the city of Chicago for the day and traveling through skokie the next day.
It was old
i liked how close i was to beach
there was a soda can under edge of bed, there was a beer can on balcony, cigaret buts and a cigar. me or my wife do not smoke, we find discusting. the carpets were not vacumed very well...
The breakfast. The pool. It was close to where our convention was at the DoubleTree. We had a main floor room. It was quiet at night. The bed was comfortable.
The carpet was filthy. Our white socks were black & then we had to keep our shoes on. (That's not very comfortable.) The refrigerator leg is missing. The bathroom door doesn't shut without putting all of your weight into it. The bathtub doesn't drain very well. The exhaust fan in the bathroom doesn't work. These are just some things that need to be taken care of and it will be a more pleasant stay.
The room was very clean. The beds were comfortable. The pool was the nicest pool we have ever had at a hotel. Breakfast was good and the breakfast staff worked hard to keep everything filled.
We would have preferred two queen beds instead of two double beds but didn't see that that was available. There wasn't a fan in the bathroom making it very hot and steamy after showering. There was a heat lamp but it wasn't working.
The mattress was very old and mushy. Facility is old and needs to be upgraded. Even though rooms are cleaned they feel grimy because the carpets, linoleum, tub, sink etc are very worn.
They have a nice breakfast and the staff is helpful.
The room was book for a queen size bed and got a standard double bed that was on the soft side.
Up to date, clean, friendly staff, pet friendly, good breakfast.
